Become a new member of the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey (NFB of NJ) Garden State Chapter and join us in raising expectations and creating opportunities for blind and low vision individuals across South Jersey and beyond. By completing this New Member Form, you are joining a supportive and active network dedicated to advocacy, equality, independence, and community engagement. The Garden State Chapter proudly serves Camden County and surrounding areas, offering connection, resources, and support for blind and low vision individuals.
The NFBNJ Garden State Chapter is a great networking tool for blind and low vision people throughout Camden and neighboring counties in New Jersey. Our chapter provides valuable networking opportunities, mentorship, and access to information that foster independence and confidence. We conduct hybrid meetings—both in person and on Zoom—on the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m., except in July and December, when no meetings are held. Meetings include guest speakers, chapter updates, and open discussions that help members stay informed, connected, and inspired.

The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting advocacy, equality, and opportunity for blind individuals throughout the state. We believe that blindness does not define who we are or limit our future. Through collective action and community strength, we demonstrate every day that blind individuals can live independently, contribute fully, and thrive in education, employment, leadership, and civic engagement.
Membership dues for the Garden State Chapter are $10 per calendar year, and you may pay for up to two calendar years at a time. Your dues help support programs, advocacy, outreach, and chapter activities that make a meaningful difference across New Jersey. Only members have the right to vote, hold office, and serve in leadership roles, ensuring your voice helps shape our chapter’s work.
If you’ve already paid by check or money order, please complete this form for our records—no additional payment is required for the current year. Dues paid between October and December will automatically be applied to the following calendar year. Please note that refunds will not be issued for mistaken submissions. Membership is limited to New Jersey residents only.

As a member of the National Federation of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey, I understand that I represent both myself and our greater organization.
