Scholarship Programs
The National Federation of the Blind believes in investing in the future by supporting the college education of deserving legally blind students. We urge you to apply to have the possibility of winning two scholarships, national and/or state.
The National Federation of the Blind’s annual scholarship program is the largest of its kind in the nation. Every year, the NFB awards more than $240,000 to blind scholars across the fifty states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico in recognition of their achievements and professional aspirations. All blind high school seniors and college students are encouraged to apply!
The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey’s annual scholarship program awards up to $6,000 to blind scholars across the state (each winner receives $1,000.00). Any legally blind, full-time college student or graduating high school seniors who will be attending college full-time in the fall of 2023 may apply. All finalists must attend the entire National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey state convention, to be held in November. All blind high school seniors and college students are encouraged to apply!
Complete one application and you can win two scholarships! The application deadline for both programs is March 31, 2020.
